Animosity have established themselves as a major staple in the death metal scene. Touring with everyone from Job for a Cowboy to Between the Buried and Me, Unearth and Napalm Death, Animosity are sited as a major influence on most of the new wave of death metal and hardcore bands across the world. The band had two successful European tours, first with Converge and later as a part of the Hell on Earth Tour. After three releases (Shut It Down on Tribunal and Empires & Animal on BMA), Animosity sadly called it quits in 2009.

Drummer, Navene Koperweis plays in a solo project called Fleshrot with Job for a Cowboy vocalist, Jonny Davy. He also drums for experimental, progressive band, Animals as Leaders.
