The Abominable Iron Sloth

Adominable, Indomitable..whatever you want to call it, it's fucking heavy. The Sloth came on the scene suddenly years ago with a debut on Goodfellow/Undergroove which sent fans into a frenzy. At the time, core member Justin Godfrey was touring with several members from Will Haven. Plagued by a rotating line up and the folding of the label Arclight Communications (who was initially supposed to release their sophomore record) the upcoming full length has gotten delayed much longer than we or any other fan of sludge and stoner rock would like. BUT their upcoming album 'LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT of HEAVINESS' will be well worth the wait, and the label change has landed them on BMA and we all could not be happier. Look for an extensive tour with Blowupnihilist in early 2009 followed by the new recording and release of this long overdue beast.
