From A Second Story Window Tour Update
So everyone was worried about what would happen next following the big vocalist changeover. Based on the feedback we've received so far, all reports have been overwhelming positive that new front man Will Jackson can definitely hold his own. The Decibel Tour alongside Into the Moat, The Acacia Strain and The Red Death has been going amazing, drawing lots of kids in every town with people sticking around every night and going off for the FASSW boys. I think the biggest surprise so far has been when 650+ people showed for their Memphis gig. Thanks to Decibel, Metal Blade, Prosthetic and all others involved in making this tour such a huge success. Be sure to catch the remaining shows and 'Bro-Down' Ohio-vania style with these lunatics.

Animosity signs with Black Market Activities
We are proud to announce that San Francisco based death metal/hardcore band ÊAnimosity has officially joined the BMA roster. The band will enter Castle Ultimate Studios with engineer Zach Ohren to record their new full length, Empires starting March 9th. Artwork will be handled by Paul Romano (Mastodon,Nasum).
According to the group, Empires is a natural and interesting progression from their first disc.Ê "We have matured as musicians and people over our years as a band. We are beginning to find our true musical voice.ÊEmpires is an entirely more advanced album in all respects and is more progressive." The group released one previous album on Tribunal Records in 2003 entitled Shut It Down. Look forÊthe band on tour in April with Into the Moat and Psyopus across the US. The band is available to tourÊfor the remainder of this year and we are currently taking tour packaging suggestions for the rest of 2005.
It is unfortunate that we must also announce that the band's rehearsalÊspace in Watsonville, CA was robbed on the evening of February 9th. "All of us are extremely upset and pissed off by this huge setback, but it will not hold us back from rocking," said Animosity front man, Leo Miller. Despite theÊtragic circumstances, the band is still optimistic aboutÊthe signing and what the future will bring. "We are proud to be teamed up with some of the best current bands in the underground aggressive music world.ÊBMA is currently the most genuine and dedicated label in our community and with their strong work ethic and close band/label relationship, it was the perfect fit for Animosity."
Bands give up their lives and drop everything to give their dreams a shot by taking their show on the road. As many of you know, there is so much overhead and start up expense in touring that traveling musicians tend to be among the poorest people of them all. Anyone willing to steal from those attempting to follow their dreams should be punished severely.
Your help in catching these scumbags is extremely appreciated.Ê If you see, hear or know anything please make sure to get in touch ASAP with animositysf@gmail.comÊand guy@blackmarketactivities.com. Below is a list of all the stolen equipment.

From a Second Story Window singer replaced
The cat got out of the bag and yes, the rumors are true: FASSW vocalist Sean Vandegrift has indeed left the band. However, everything is still in line as the band has found a replacement in the form of Will Jackson, formerly on NC death-metalcore band The End of All. Both Sean and the band are on great terms and Sean will still be helping the band any way possible.
According to Sean, "Will is a great vocalist and he's quickly becoming a really great frontman. We're all still on good terms and I'm confident the guys (FASSW) will continue on in a strong way. I wish them all the best of luck and my support is with them every step of the way." Although it's uncertain as to what his exact plans will be next, he hinted at the idea of potentially getting another musical project together at some point and he mentioned the possibility of contributing vocals to the upcoming Red Chord disc.
Jackson will be making his debut with the band on their upcoming tour with The Acacia Strain, Into the Moat and The Red Death in February.

The Red Chord studio update
The Red Chord's new album Clients is currently being recorded at Planet Z with engineer/producer Zeuss. According to new drummer Brad Fickiesen, "The record sounds amazing so far.
Zeuss has been working the hell out of us and we're all extremely psyched with the progress to this point. The drum tracks are 100% finished. We're about midway through tracking guitars now and we just started vocals."
The new album is slated to street date May 17th via Metal Blade/BMA with tour plans before and after the release to be announced soon.
In regards to the new record, guitarist Mike McKenzie says, 'Floating science crown'. Bassist Greg Weeks contributed his two cents adding "Diahrea tromobone."
So yeah...ignore that kid on Lambgoat's message board. We don't have the record yet, so he doesn't have the mp3's.
Look for some extensive tour plans to be announced within the next couple weeks.

Backstabbers Incorporated frontman drops off tour
There's not a whole lot of info on this one, but Ryan Stabbers has apparently jumped ship on the BSI US tour. The band will still continue on while guitarist and bassist Matt and Brian Serven handle vocal duties until other arrangements can be made.
Make sure to check out the band on this tour as this may very well be the band's last tour of the states.
